Hi, I'm Dan Sisson, the owner and persona behind Layer 8 Technology. Formally founded in 2003 but grounded in years of tinkering and professionial experience, this company is my ever-evolving love letter to technology and the internet. I was fortunate to be coming up in the midst of the dotcom boom; getting involved in a lot of early internet culture and riding the wave of transformation ever since. This unique journey has not only provided me with a front-row seat to the rapid evolution of the internet and tech industries but has also ingrained in me a deep understanding of both its challenges and immense possibilities.
From the early days of dial-up to the current era of cloud computing, my experience covers a broad spectrum of technological advancements. This extensive background enables me to bring a seasoned perspective to application development, systems engineering, cloud infrastructure, and network infrastructure, ensuring that the solutions I provide are both innovative and grounded in practical experience.
